Miss LSU 2026

Kira Ekukpe is a senior majoring in Business Administration at Louisiana State University and serves as Miss LSU 2026. She values the relationships she has built throughout college and the opportunity to represent a university that has played such a meaningful role in her life. For Kira, serving as Miss LSU is a chance to connect with students, contribute to campus life, and give back to the people who have supported her along the way.

Kira’s commitment to mental health awareness is personal. She understands how difficult it can be to share what you are going through, especially when you feel pressure to have everything together. She hopes to encourage people to reach out and recognize that they deserve support. As Miss LSU, she wants to make room for honest conversations about the challenges students face.

Beyond pageantry, Kira enjoys meeting people and building relationships. Her work in hospitality has helped her connect with people from different backgrounds, and she hopes to bring those skills into a future career in entrepreneurship and commercial real estate. Connecting with the Baton Rouge community has been a meaningful part of her college experience, and she will carry those relationships and lessons with her wherever her future takes her.
